Administrative Assistant - Full-time

Description

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing telephone answering and receptionist services, administrative secretarial support to facility administrative staff, and general clerical duties for Nexus Neurorecovery Center.

• Provides administrative support by way of typing reports, minutes, policies, procedures, PowerPoint presentations, calendars, flyers, etc.

• Takes minutes in meetings as assigned.

• Assists department directors with assigned tasks.

• Schedules meetings and maintains Conference Room Calendar.

• Processes overnight mailing.

• Audits and maintains contract files.

• Maintains and updates Policies and Procedures and forms in a timely and organized manner.

• Ensures payroll documents are forwarded to payroll in a timely and accurate manner and time is maintained and reviewed appropriately.

• Assists facility Administrator/CEO and other staff with administrative duties.

• Interacts with Business Office vendors, i.e. fax/copy machine vendor, etc.

• Assists with patient trust fund accounts.

• Maintains employee confidentiality at all times.

• Possess ability to read, write and communicate English well.

• Ensures cleanliness of administrative offices.

• Receives and sorts all facility mail appropriately.

• Exhibits a great level of effective communication, professionalism and willingness to seek out other tasks.

• Attends all mandatory in-services.

• Assists IT department with help desk tickets when necessary

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • One (1) years Administrative experience preferably in a healthcare setting

Education Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Driver license
