Nexus Health Systems values the ability to partner with families in the care of their loved ones. While our goal is to provide the best care possible, we also know that families and caregivers want to do the same. As a constant source of support and essential participant in your loved one’s care, we understand you play a central role. The information below pertains to a patient’s stay, explaining what to bring, as well as details about our facilities. Our goal is to make you and your loved one feel comfortable before admissions and throughout their time at a Nexus facility.
Therapy schedules and courses of treatment are determined by each patient’s individual medical needs and his or her ability to tolerate therapy.
Each individual’s program is determined based upon their needs, strengths and preferences. Cognitive re-training, sheltered workshop activities and vocational activities are combined with structured behavioral programs to meet your vocational, educational, social, and recreational needs.
Families are encouraged to decorate their loved one’s room with his or her favorite items from home.
Nexus' NeuroContinuum sequence provides a range of care for those recovering from acquired or traumatic brain injuries and other complicated illnesses or diseases.
